Registration Basics

Sign up as a business or as an individual. After a short review by our team, your account will be verified and have full access to our services.

Lending Basics

Once you sign up, our team will verify your account. You will be unable to make or accept product requests until you are verified.

Renting Basics

Once you sign up, our team will verify your account. You will be unable to make or accept product requests until you are verified.

"Refund and Cancellation" Policy

The Renter can cancel their reservation through Next-Door Rental app to prevent the transaction from going through. The transaction can be cancelled up until product pick-up however NDR payment processing fees will apply.

Payment Process

At Next-Door Rental, we utilize an independent PCI-compliant payment gateway, Stripe, for safe and secure payments. We also give Business Lenders the option to utilize their own point of sale (POS) system if they wish. Business Lenders are invoiced the NDR service fees on the first day of the month.

Next-Door Rental Community Guidelines

If you’re honest, respectful, and kind to others, you’ll always be welcome at Next-Door Rental. If you wish not to be, you may not last. Our goal is to allow users to have full autonomy of their products and a community that respects each other and their property.

Dispute Resolution

Any behavior that is not aligned with Next-Door Rentals Community Guidelines is unacceptable. Users are encouraged to report bad behavior to help keep our community safe.

Business Rental Guide

Businesses are required to have the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions through their own point of sale (POS) system. Business have the option to fill out their tax registration.

What Items are Not Allowed

Next-Door Rentals hosts a very large list of tools, machines, hardware, instruments, devices, and gadgets. But we also have a list of things that you cannot list for rent.

Pick-up & Return

At Next-Door Rentals, we want to make sure that your product pick-up and return are efficient and hassle-free as possible. Geolocation, time stamped photos taken by the Renter are submitted to NDR and the Lender.

Scheduling

It is important to recognize that as a Lender you define two types of personal schedules in the NDR Platform. The two calendars are called the Weekly schedule and the Unavailability Schedule
